Lively workshops focusing on instruments and bluegrass techniques (known to break into legendary jam sessions) are a signature feature of FreshGrass. This year’s workshop lineup is brimming with Americana music talent, led by Grammy Award-winner Alison Brown, Matt Glaser, Darol Anger and Joe Walsh from the Berklee College of Music’s American Roots Music Program, and the inimitable finger-picker, Happy Traum.
All workshops are free with admission. Workshop schedule will be announced closer to the festival. Select workshops encourage attendees to bring instruments. Space is limited, so register on the day of the event when you arrive at the festival in Courtyard A – first come, first served. Workshops are located on the 3rd floor, above the museum lobby.
